What exactly does the check look at?

The home page and, where your robots.txt allows, collections, products, a blog post and your legal pages, with a 5-second pause between pages. It finds the barriers a machine can detect and lists what a person needs to test.

Is my business in scope?

The European Accessibility Act applies to online shops selling to consumers in the EU since 28 June 2025. Businesses with fewer than 10 people and at most €2 million turnover are exempt from the service rules; the check is open to them too.
